Summit Studios hires legendary blogger Daryle Dickens

Darren Mahuron of Summit Studios has brought legendary blogger Daryle Dickens on board to help him with this here blog. Daryle has been blogging for many years and now makes a living by building blogs and coaching businesses on blogs and social media. Daryle is writing this post and Daryle told Darren that he does not like to write in the 3rd person. He stops doing that with this sentence.

Ah, much better.

If your familiar with Summit Studios and Darren’s digital artistry you know that Darren should be spending his time taking photos and creating amazing portraits. He should not be spending his time blogging. Which is why I am here, to help share and spread the news of Darren Mahuron and Summit Studios. Never fear though, Darren will still be posting, we both know that is who you really want to hear from. I am just here to massage his ego and to make sure the delicate genius has all he needs when it comes to blogging.

I’ve been into photography since college and so a few years back when I started to notice Summit Studio posters and images around Old Town Fort Collins and MySpace I had to find out who was behind them. I set up an interview with Darren for the webzine I was producing at the time ZAF622. After meeting with Darren and his wife Lisa for the interview I decided to hire him for a photoshoot. My wife and I continue to get compliments on the photos that came from that shoot. They are by far the best images every created of my ugly mug. One even made the cover of Wired magazine. (why did I even bring that up.) I also had a studio for a bit when The Gallery Underground first expanded to include working studios. What I am trying to say is that I am a big fan of the work Darren does and over the years have become a friend as well. Which I hope serves me well in writing for him on this blog.

Please join Summit Studios on this adventure in blogging by either subscribing to the RSS feed, or if you don’t know your RSS from your arse you can always sign up to have each and every post delivered to your in-box by clicking here.

Thanks,

Daryle

P.S. I am only a legendary blogger in my own mind, but I figure you have to start somewhere.
