Join us First Friday October 2nd for “Arrowed” where we will be displaying work by guest artist Natalie Lowry.

Natalie is a veterinary student and a taxidermist. She is quiet, well-mannered, and often creative. After earning a useless degree in French Literature from the University of San Francisco in 2005, she went on to attend Second Nature School of Taxidermy outside of Missoula, Montana in 2006.

Natalie is currently earning her DVM at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. If she isn’t at the hospital treating animals, she’s in her studio at home stuffing them. However, if the fur market is down, she dabbles in other artforms including pastel, watercolor, and pen & ink. A recent disciple of steam punk, she is also self-taught in the craft of electroplating.

Natalie employs a multitude of mediums to explore the human-animal bond, most noteably by finding life in the dead.

We will also be featuring a guest appearance by painter Rachel Herrera.

DJ “bluchris” will be spinning some great sounds for your listening pleasure.
